Sodium Hyaluronate

Sodium Hyaluronate is a hyaluronic acid salt that is thought to be more beneficial for skin than pure hyaluronic acid due to its higher compatibility.

What are the benefits?

It is used as a humectant to increase skin moisture and may also act as an emulsifier. Sodium hyaluronate has a water binding ability of 1,800 times its own weight. It is the most widely used type of hyaluronic acid.
