Phospholipids

Phospholipids are complex fat substances (lipids) made up of glycerol, fatty acids, and phosphate.

What are the benefits?

Because of their intrinsic compatibility with skin lipids, phospholipids are used topically as a moisturiser and emollient. Natural phospholipids, in general, have temporary effect when applied topically and are used in the manufacturing of liposomes.
