Paraffin

Paraffin is a combination of hydrocarbons derived mostly from petroleum and often used in place of beeswax in skincare products.

What are the benefits?

In cosmetic products, paraffin is often used in place of beeswax.  While pure paraffin is safe for the skin, the presence of impurities can cause irritation, eczema, and other skin issues.
