Gluconolactone

Gluconolactone is a type of Polyhydroxy acid (PHA). PHA is the next-generation of Alpha Hydroxy Acid, it exfoliates, hydrates without the irritation one might experience with AHA.

What are the benefits?

Gluconolactone gently removes dead skin cells from the skin's surface, resulting in smoother and even-toned skin. In the long run, it offers anti-aging benefits such as increased skin thickness and wrinkle reduction (though not as effective as more potent AHAs) It's an excellent moisturiser that also assists in the repair of damaged skin barriers.
